Primary Homeroom Teacher

Cranberry International School, located in Lampang Province, northern Thailand, is seeking a qualified native English speaker to join our team as a Primary Homeroom Teacher. Our school offers a US standards-based curriculum and serves students from Nursery to Grade 6.

This is a full-time position beginning at the start of our 2026-2027 academic year.

Position

• Primary Homeroom Teacher
• Start Date: August 13, 2026
• Contract Term: 1 or 2 years (August 2026 - July 2027/2028), with a possibility of renewal

Responsibilities

• Teach English Language Arts, Math, Science, Health, ICT, Social Studies, Art, and Independent Study to assigned classes.
• Prepare lesson plans and assessments in accordance with the curriculum.
• Evaluate student progress and issue end-of-term reports.
• Collaborate with a Teacher's Assistant to manage the classroom and students.
• Organize school events and activities.
• Communicate with parents through classroom Line group chats and parent-teacher meetings.
• Perform administrative duties such as weekly gate duty and student supervision.
• Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Maximum of 190 school days per academic year.
• Maximum of 20 students per class and 20 teaching hours per week.

Qualifications

• Native English speaker with at least 1 year of teaching experience and a bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field.
• Eligible for Thailand’s Non-Immigrant Type B visa, Teacher’s License or Temporary Teaching Permit, and Work Permit.
• Ability to manage a classroom of up to 20 students and create engaging lessons.
• Proficient in using educational technology and online resources.
• Prefer to live and work in a peaceful town in northern Thailand.
• Available to start by the specified date and complete the contract term.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salary of 38,000 THB per month
