Primary Homeroom Teacher

Urgently required! Cranberry International School is looking for a qualified native English speaker to teach a range of subjects as a Homeroom Teacher in our Primary (Grade 3 or 4) class, starting on August 13, 2026.

Cranberry International School is a small international school in Lampang Province, northern Thailand, offering international education with a US standards-based curriculum from Nursery to Grade 6. We are looking for qualified native English speakers to join our diverse teaching staff as Homeroom Teacher at the beginning of our 2026-27 academic year.

• Primary Homeroom Teacher
• Start date: 13 Aug 2026
• Contract term: 1 or 2 years (August 2026 - Jul. 2027/2028), with a possibility of renewal

Job Description

• Teach various subjects to the assigned class in English: ELA, Math, Science, Health, ICT, Social Studies, Art, and Independent Study.
• Prepare lesson plans and assessments in line with curriculum materials. Evaluate student progress and issue end-of-term reports.
• Work with the Teacher's Assistant to manage the classroom and students.
• Organize school events and activities.
• Communicate with parents in the classroom Line group chat and at parent-teacher meetings.
• Perform other required administrative duties, such as weekly gate duty and student supervision duty.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

• Maximum number of students per class: 20
• Maximum teaching hours per week: 20

Qualifications

• Must be a native English speaker with at least 1 year of teaching experience and hold a bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field.
• Must be eligible to apply for Thailand’s Non-Immigrant Type B visa, Teacher’s License or Temporary Teaching Permit, and Work Permit.
• Must be able to manage a class of up to 20 students and create engaging lessons appropriate for the age group in various subjects.
• Must know how to use relevant technology and online resources for education.
• Preferably living and working in a peaceful town in northern Thailand.
• Must be able to start work by the specified date and complete the full school year under the contract term.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salary: 38,000 THB per month
