Native Chinese Teacher Wanted for Bangkok Language School: Full-time, including evenings and weekends.

Join the fastest-growing language school in Bangkok! Modulo Language School is seeking a full-time native Chinese-speaking teacher who is available to teach evenings and weekends. Our ideal candidate is personable, knowledgeable, friendly, and effective, and is dedicated to helping students learn while improving their own teaching skills.

As a qualified Chinese teacher, you will teach a mix of adult learners (70%+), children, and teenagers of all levels. We teach a wide range of courses, including general Chinese, business Chinese, academic tests (HSK etc.), phonics, and many more. 95% of our lessons are private, though we do have some small groups, up to a maximum of 8 students. Modulo does a lot of corporate work, and sometimes those classes are a little larger.

Benefits

• 370 baht per 50-minute private lesson (Monday to Friday), with a 15% increase on Saturdays and 10% on Sundays.
• Small group classes pay up to 560 baht per lesson.
• First-year teachers can expect to earn over 43,000 baht per month on average, with the rate increasing to 390 baht per lesson for teachers on their second contract.
• Up to 40 days of unpaid leave for holidays and vacations per 12 months.
• Coaching and training are provided and paid for.
• Four schools conveniently located on Bangkok's BTS and MRT systems: Siam Paragon, Central World, Central Rama IX, and Icon Siam.
• Visa and work permit support, with the company covering the cost of the work permit.
• Health insurance, yearly raises, internal promotions, huge course discounts, and more.
• One-year contracts for 5-day or 6-day weeks.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree.
• Hold a Chinese teaching certificate.
• Currently reside in Thailand, or be willing to relocate.
• Be available on evenings and weekends.
• Be a native Chinese speaker from China.
• Be willing to make a one-year commitment.
