About this position
Saint Dominic School in Bangkok is seeking a qualified native English speaker for the position of Primary Mathematics and English Teacher. This full-time role is open to candidates from the USA, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa who currently reside in Thailand.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English and Mathematics at the primary level.
- Deliver well-structured lessons in alignment with school standards.
- Prepare course outlines, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Create a safe and disciplined classroom environment.
- Participate in academic events and school activities.
Requirements
- Native English speaker from the specified countries.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a related field.
- Previous teaching experience at the primary level is preferred.
- Familiarity with phonics, literacy, and numeracy development.
- Teaching qualifications such as PGCE, BEd, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Must be residing in Thailand and available for an immediate start.
Salary and Benefits
- Monthly salary between 40,000 and 50,000 THB, negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
- 12-month contract.
