About Us
Western International School was founded in West Honduras, Santa Rosa de Copán. We are a bilingual institution that started with one campus in Santa Rosa de Lima. After the school's first campus had amazing success, we expanded into one of the largest and most populous cities in our country: San Pedro Sula.
Our mission as an institution is to improve education in our country by offering an integrated education that includes academic excellence, scientific investigation, guidance in developing liberal arts, and other skills, while reinforcing moral values and much more.
We work hard to build a team of teachers who are committed to continuous improvement and who make a daily effort to help and guide our kids in every way. We treat our teachers with respect and support, work as a team, and look out for each other. We also do our best to help teachers go through the adaptation process of our culture and educational system in the best way possible.
