About Us

Western International School was founded in West Honduras, Santa Rosa de Copán. We are a bilingual institution that started with one campus in Santa Rosa de Lima.

After the first campus's amazing success, we expanded to one of the largest and most populous cities in our country: San Pedro Sula.

Our mission as an institution is to improve education in our country by offering an integrated education that includes characteristics and instills competencies such as academic excellence, scientific research, guidance in developing liberal arts and other skills, while reinforcing moral values and much more.

We work hard to build a team of teachers who focus on continuous improvement and, above all, make a daily effort to help and guide our children in every way.

We treat our teachers with respect and support them by working as a team and looking out for one another. In addition, we do all we can to help teachers adapt to our culture and educational system in the best possible way.

For the 2026-2027 school year, we have openings for ESL teachers in middle and elementary school, as well as a Mandarin Chinese teacher position.
