Senior High School English Teacher

We are currently seeking a Native English Teacher for the Senior High School section at Chung Cheng Armed Forces Preparatory School (CCAFPS) in Kaohsiung for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Requirements

• Citizenship from a country where English is the official language.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and a valid government-issued teaching license or certificate from the applicant's home country.
• Applicants must be in good physical and mental health, verified by a health check report issued within the last three months.
• A clean criminal record certificate from the home country or Taiwan police authorities is mandatory.

Job Description and Responsibilities

• Teach Senior High School students (Grades 10–12) with assignments determined by the school.
• Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 08:00 AM to 04:10 PM, with 18 teaching periods per week (50 minutes each).
• Assist with school-wide English activities and events.
• Adhere to school regulations, such as wearing an ID badge at all times.

Salary and Benefits

• Monthly salary: NT$ 69,880 for teachers with a Bachelor’s degree; NT$ 77,960 for those with a Master’s degree. Salaries increase annually upon contract renewal based on the "Foreign English Teacher Salary Scale."
• Airfare subsidy: Reimbursement for one round-trip economy class ticket up to NT$ 40,000.
• Housing allowance: NT$ 10,000/month for teachers with dependents and NT$ 5,000/month for single teachers.
• Settling-in allowance: NT$ 9,000 per year for living supplies.
• Performance bonus: Equivalent to one month's salary for teachers receiving a "Grade A" performance evaluation upon completing a full year.

Contract Renewal

Teachers must express intent to renew three months before contract expiration. Renewal is contingent upon a comprehensive evaluation of teaching performance and administrative cooperation, subject to approval from relevant authorities.
