Secondary Science Teacher

Thasalaprasitsuksa School in Nakhon Si Thammarat is seeking a dedicated Foreign Science Teacher to join our English Program (EP). This is a full-time position open to both native and non-native English speakers.

Position Details

• Position: Foreign Science Teacher (Native/Non-native)
• Subject: Science
• Level: Secondary School (English Program)
• Location: Thasalaprasitsuksa School, Thasala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Southern Thailand
• Salary: 30,000 THB/month for native speakers; 25,000 THB/month for non-native speakers

Responsibilities

• Teach Science in English
• Manage a teaching load of 21–22 periods per week
• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials
• Assess students and submit grades
• Attend school meetings and activities
• Participate in parent meetings once each semester
• Teach a summer science course (up to 30 periods)
• Provide academic support for students (2 hours per week)
• Perform other duties as assigned by the school

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Science or a related field
• Ability to teach Science in English with good communication skills
• Professional attitude and responsibility
• Teaching experience preferred
• Teaching License or Teaching Permit is an advantage
• TESOL/TEFL or related certificates are advantageous
