About the school
The Newton Group opened in 2019 and is located in central Bangkok, a few minutes' walk from Siam BTS. The school accepts students in grades 2–7 (primary) and grades 8–13 (senior), and follows IGCSE, IAL (International A-Level), and BTEC curricula under Pearson. Details of the positions
- Position 1: Physics Teacher for IGCSE (Years 10/11) and, if qualified, transition into IAL (Years 12/13).
- Position 2: Mathematics Teacher for IGCSE (Years 10/11) and, if qualified, support IAL (Years 12/13).
- Position 3: General Science Teacher (Years 8/9).
Qualifications and experience
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or above in the relevant field.
- Minimum of one year’s in-class teaching experience in the relevant subject and age group.
- Understanding of Pearson IGCSE and IAL programs is beneficial but not essential; comprehensive training and support will be provided.
- Preference given to native English speakers, especially those currently residing in Thailand, and to Thai nationals proficient in teaching in English.
Benefits
- Working hours: 09:00–18:00, Monday–Friday.
- Preferred start date: April 2026 (negotiable based on current employment circumstances).
- Salary: Starting salary of minimum 50k, based on qualifications and experience.
- Annual bonus: 1 month’s salary.
