Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for Grades 7–12, support students' academic progress, and participate in the school's professional and extracurricular activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to secondary students (Grades 7–12) using well-structured, differentiated lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Create a stimulating classroom environment that fosters enthusiasm and motivation for Mathematics.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons using varied teaching strategies and technology; support learners with diverse needs, including those with special educational needs.
• Assess, record, and monitor student progress; provide timely, constructive feedback and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
• Set and mark homework in line with school policy and student workload.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, punctuality, and organization.
• Use English as the medium of instruction and support English for Academic Progress where necessary.
• Collaborate with the Head of Department, Academic Support, and counseling services to support students’ academic and pastoral needs.
• Contribute to curriculum development, cross-curricular projects, and school initiatives; participate in departmental and school-wide meetings and professional development.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and undertake additional duties as requested by school leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (required).
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for education and ongoing professional growth.
