About this position
St.Joseph Mueang-Ake School (Rangsit area — about 10 minutes from Don Mueang Airport) is hiring non-native English speaking mathematics teachers for Secondary Level. Start date: April 19. This is a direct-hire position with the school.
Salary & Financial Benefits
- Base salary: 23,000–25,000 THB
- A small, refundable security deposit is deducted during the 60–90 day probation period
- 12-month contract (paid for all months)

- Paid school breaks (after probation):
- April: 14 paid days (after probation)
- Christmas: approximately 9 paid days
- All Thai public holidays paid

Position Details
- Level: Secondary (Grades 7–9 / Matthayom 1–3)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 07:15–17:00
- Teaching load: Normal 20–24 periods/week; maximum cap 24 periods/week
- Subject-based teaching focused entirely on Mathematics
Key Responsibilities
- Teach mathematics to secondary students in English
- Develop engaging lesson plans, practical activities, and standardized assessments (including formatting exams for Grades 7–9)
- Work collaboratively with the school's academic departments
- Maintain a safe, productive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Support student routines, behavior, and academic development
- Participate in meetings, school activities, and assigned duties
Required Qualifications
- Non-native English speaker with high proficiency in spoken and written English
- Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level is required
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a closely related field
- Proof of English proficiency (e.g., TOEIC, IELTS) is highly advantageous
- TEFL, TESOL, PGCE, or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification is a plus
- Patient, caring, and professional demeanor
Additional Notes
- Probation period: 60–90 days
- Participation in up to 5 school events per year (may include weekends)
- Visa and work permit support provided (details explained during hiring)
