Homeroom English Teacher Kindergarten Primary

Saint Joseph Mueang Ake (Rangsit - 10 Minutes from Don Mueang Airport) is hiring native English-speaking Homeroom Teachers for Kindergarten 1–3 and Primary 1. Start immediately, April 19, or May 5. This is a direct-hire position with the school.

Our Native (Kindergarten) and Global (Primary 1) programs focus on giving young learners daily, meaningful exposure to native English, building pronunciation, listening skills, and confidence through consistent interaction.

Eligibility Requirements

• Native English speakers only (female candidates preferred)
• Applicants must hold a passport from the USA, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand
• Applications that do not meet both requirements will not be considered or responded to

Salary, Bonuses & Financial Benefits

• Base salary: 46,000 THB for Kindergarten or 43,000 THB for Global Primary 1-6
• A small, refundable security deposit is deducted during the 90-day probation period
• 12-month contract (paid for all months)
• Employment continuity bonus: 1,250 THB per month, accumulated and paid in full at contract completion
• End-of-contract bonus: 10,000–40,000 THB, based on service and performance
• Work permit fully covered by the school
• Annual salary increase: guaranteed 2–3%, performance-based
• Paid school breaks after probation:
  • April: 14–30 paid days (based on years)
  • October: 2 paid weeks
  • Christmas: approximately 9 paid days
  • All Thai public holidays paid
• Health and accident insurance after probation
• Housing assistance (service only, not funding) available near a university area, only for teachers coming directly from abroad
• Airport pickup (service only, not funding), only for teachers coming directly from abroad

Position Details

• Level: Kindergarten K1–K3 and Grade 1 (Primary)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 07:15–16:15
• Teaching load: normal 13–18 periods per week; maximum cap 20 periods per week
• Homeroom-based: one assigned classroom
• Co-teaching with a Thai teacher
• Teaching is limited to your assigned class only
• Opportunities to teach extra classes for additional income

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the homeroom teacher for a Kindergarten class
• Teach core subjects in English
• Work collaboratively with a Thai co-teacher
• Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment
• Support student routines, behavior, and emotional development
• Participate in meetings, school activities, and assigned duties

Required Qualifications

• Female native English speakers preferred (eligible passport required)
• Kindergarten teaching experience required
• Experience teaching multiple subjects in English
• Bachelor’s degree in any field
• TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, PGCE, PGCEi, or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification
• Patient, caring, and professional

Additional Notes

• 60–90 day probation period
• Participation in up to 5 school events per year (may include weekends)
• Visa and work permit support provided (details explained during hiring)
