Assumption College (Secondary Section) is located at 26 Soi Charoenkrung 40, Bangrak, Bangkok 10500, Thailand. Inspiring academic excellence since 1885, Assumption College is one of Thailand’s oldest and most prestigious all-boys schools, located in the heart of Bangkok. We are currently seeking dedicated and qualified secondary-level teachers to join our English Program (EP) for the 2026 academic year.

General Responsibilities

• Deliver English-medium instruction aligned with the school curriculum in English, Mathematics, or Science subjects.
• Promote student development, well-being, and positive learning behaviors.
• Apply modern pedagogy, assessment methods, and digital tools.
• Maintain professional ethics in line with the Teachers' Council of Thailand (Khurusapha) standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Eligibility for Khurusapha professional licensing (or a temporary teaching permit).

Desired Qualifications/Experience

• At least one year of recent EFL teaching experience.
• Demonstrated cultural awareness, respect for, and ability to work effectively within Thai cultural norms and practices.
• Secondary-level teaching experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• At least one verifiable professional reference, preferably from a direct supervisor.
• Computer literate: familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, file-sharing platforms, interactive whiteboards, and Google for Education applications (e.g., Classroom).
• Experience with international exam preparation (e.g., SAT) is a plus.
• Familiarity with English Programs in Thailand and the Thai curriculum.

Additional / Specific Preferences

English Teacher Applicants

• Experience teaching at the lower secondary level.
• Strong preference for experience with Cambridge or IELTS examinations.

Mathematics Teacher Applicants

• Strong background in Mathematics.

Science Teacher Applicants

• Experience teaching General Science at the lower secondary level.

Computer, Business, or Other Subject Applicants

• Applicants must be available to provide a live, in-person demonstration lesson at the school in Bangkok, Thailand.
