Secondary Biology Teacher Bangkok

The Trilingual Programme of Srinakharinwirot University Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Secondary), Bangkok, is seeking an English-speaking teacher to deliver secondary-level science (biology) lessons. We are hiring one biology teacher, and candidates with related science backgrounds will also be considered.

The school is located in Asoke, central Bangkok, within walking distance of both BTS and MRT stations. The position is available for an immediate start.

• Starting salary: 55,000 THB/month
• Housing allowance: 10,000 THB/month

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Open to all nationalities (native English speakers will be given special consideration)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Secondary Education in Biology, or a related field
• PGCE, PGCEi, QTS, teaching license from your home country, or Kurusapa teaching license (or be willing to work towards one)
• Demonstrated experience teaching biology and science courses
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong interpersonal skills; enthusiastic, empathetic, proactive, and solution-oriented

The successful candidate will teach Matthayom 1–5 (secondary school students, aged 11–17 years old) courses in the following subjects:

• Biology
• Science in Practice
• Design Thinking
• STEAM Synergy

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
• Maintain a well-organized, respectful, and positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student performance and development.
• Participate in and support school-wide events, science fairs, student clubs, and field trips related to science.
