Science Teacher for English Program
About this position
The Demonstration School of Silpakorn University, located in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, is inviting applications for a Native English Speaking Science Teacher for its English Program.
The role involves teaching Science to students in Grades 1 through 6 in the elementary department. This is a full-time position with a teaching schedule capped at 18 hours per week. The monthly salary is 50,000 THB. The job starts on 1 August 2026 or as soon as possible. The initial employment contract is for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and evaluation.
Qualifications
- Must be a native English speaker
- At least a bachelor’s degree
- A degree in education is an advantage
- Understanding of elementary student development and primary education principles
- One to three years of teaching experience is beneficial
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Flexibility, professionalism, and a positive attitude toward teamwork and school responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Deliver up to 18 hours of Science and STEAM lessons per week
- Support students during homeroom, break times, and lunch periods
- Maintain a safe and organized school environment
- Monitor and evaluate student progress
- Prepare course outlines
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and school activities
