About the Role
Are you an enthusiastic Science or Physics Teacher looking to join one of Kuwait's leading British international schools?
Kuwait English School (KES) is seeking a passionate educator to teach General Science (Key Stage 3) and Physics (IGCSE & A-Level). You will join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering outstanding teaching while inspiring curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of science.

Salary & Benefits — Overseas Hire
- Start Date: August 2026
- Salary: Competitive salary based on qualifications, certification, and experience
- Accommodation: Furnished accommodation provided
- Airfare: Annual return airfare for teacher and eligible dependents
- Medical Insurance: Private medical insurance provided
- End-of-Service Gratuity: As per Kuwait Labour Law
- Contract: Two years (renewable)
Responsibilities
- Teach General Science and Physics across Key Stage 3, IGCSE, and A-Level.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the British Curriculum.
- Prepare students for practical work and external examinations.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records.
- Participate in curriculum development, parent meetings, and professional development.
- Support extracurricular STEM activities.
- Uphold KES safeguarding policies and professional standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Science, or a related field.
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, B.Ed., or equivalent).
- Experience teaching IGCSE and A-Level Physics preferred.
- Ability to teach General Science at lower secondary level.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Strong laboratory and practical science knowledge.
- Eligible to obtain a Kuwait work visa.
