Primary & Secondary NES Teacher

Glory Singapore International School in Bangkok is seeking qualified candidates for multiple teaching positions.

Position

• NES Teacher (Primary and Secondary level)
• Salary starting at 60,000 Baht
• All positions have an immediate start date
• Teaching load: 20 one-hour periods per week

Responsibilities

• Design and follow a complete teaching plan
• Teach alphabet and numeracy along with personal, social and emotional skills
• Organize learning materials and resources
• Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information
• Assess students' performance and progress regularly to ensure mastery of skills
• Monitor children’s interactions and nurture cooperation and sharing
• Cooperate with administrative staff
• Follow and comply with teaching standards and safety regulations
• Be responsible for ensuring the safeguarding of children

Specific Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a teacher
• Excellent knowledge of child development and current educational theories and practices
• Creative and artistic teaching abilities
• Strong teaching and organizational skills
• Patience and flexibility
• Strong communication skills

General Requirements

• Possess a teaching license and a Bachelor's degree in Education
• Able to utilize computers and other technological equipment for instruction
• All applicants must be in Thailand and will be subject to a paper test, an interview, and a class demonstration; applicants outside Thailand will not be considered
• Possess a valid criminal background check
• Submit two references in the CV for reference checks; references will be contacted prior to shortlisting
• Candidates will be asked safeguarding-related questions
