Primary PE Teacher Grade 3-4

Chulalongkorn University Demonstration Elementary School (Satit Chula) is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and energetic Physical Education Teacher to join our team and deliver engaging PE lessons for Grade 3–4 students (ages 8–10). The successful candidate will be passionate about child development, physical fitness, and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where all students feel confident participating.

Position Details

• Role: Physical Education (PE) Teacher
• Grade Level: Grade 3–4 (Ages 8–10)
• Start Date: 11 May 2026
• Salary: 50 000 THB + 9000 THB housing allowance (received after completing 3 months probationary period)
• Location: Chulalongkorn University Demonstration Elementary School (Satit Chula), Bangkok
• Contract Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate PE lessons aligned with school curriculum goals
• Teach fundamental movement skills, teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship
• Create a safe, structured, and enjoyable learning environment
• Support students’ physical, social, and emotional development through sport and activity
• Organise equipment, set up activities, and manage transitions smoothly
• Assess student progress and provide clear feedback
• Promote healthy habits and a positive attitude toward physical activity
• Support school events such as Sports Day, competitions, or fitness activities (if required)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Education, or related field
• Teaching qualification (or equivalent experience) preferred
• Experience working with children aged 8–10 is strongly preferred
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confident in delivering structured lessons with clear routines and safety awareness
• A positive, professional attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Desirable Skills

• Experience teaching swimming, athletics, gymnastics, or team sports
• Coaching experience or extracurricular sports leadership
• Knowledge of inclusive PE practices and differentiation strategies
