Physical Education Teacher
About this position
Crane International School Myanmar (CISM), an established Cambridge international school in Yangon, is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Physical Education (PE) teacher for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Starting Date: Immediately
The ideal candidate will inspire students to lead active and healthy lifestyles, foster teamwork and sportsmanship, and deliver a dynamic PE curriculum aligned with Cambridge standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Be able to teach and prepare students to take Physical Education exams in IGCSE (Year 11).
- Develop and implement a comprehensive PE curriculum for Early Years to Secondary students.
- Promote physical activity and well-being through a variety of sports and fitness programs.
- Organize and supervise sports events (Football and Basketball), intramural activities, and interschool competitions (Football and Basketball).
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and cooperation.
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
- Establish effective and respectful working relationships with colleagues, parents, the community, and other stakeholders.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development training as required.
- Adhere to school policies outlined in the staff handbook, including Health and Safety and Child Safeguarding policies.
Qualifications
- A degree in Physical Education or a relevant qualification in the field, along with a bachelor's degree.
- At least 2 years of experience teaching Physical Education.
- Teachers with near-native-level English are also welcome to apply.
- Recommendation letters from your two most recent employers are mandatory.

- USD 1800 (THB 58,000) or negotiable
