Part Time English Teacher

Gate English Academy is seeking a Part-Time English Teacher to start on May 4th, 2026.

Qualifications

• Native English speaker
• Degree and teaching certificate required
• Experience teaching ESL students is preferred
• Proficiency in TOEFL and IELTS is preferred
• Willingness to learn is also valued

Schedule

• Classes are held Monday to Friday, between 4:00 p.m. and 8:40 p.m.
• Applicants should be available during these peak times
• Morning classes are also offered during Summer Break
• Current class times are Tuesday and Thursday from 5:10 p.m. to 7:40 p.m., with possible extra hours
• Summer Intensive classes run from mid-June to August, Monday to Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• The initial commitment is 5-6 hours per week

Compensation

• Starting wage: 500,000 VND to 540,000 VND per hour, depending on experience and the results of a demo class
• Opportunities for additional classes may be available

About the Classes

• Classes are held in Phu My Hung, District 7, Vietnam
• Group classes are small, with 3 to 8 students, or classes may be conducted privately
• Students are mainly Korean and range from elementary to secondary level
• Teaching materials are provided, although some class preparation is required
• Classes run year-round, including summer and winter, with a closure of one week to ten days during each school break
