• This is a freelance position. You can teach as many hours as you want.
• One-on-one online classes.
• Class lengths: 25 minutes or 50 minutes.
• Correct students during class and focus on conversational English.
• Clients are mostly adults (around 70%).

Requirements

• Native English speaker.
• Fluent in English with a North American accent.
• Completion of primary and middle school in Canada or America.

• Computer or laptop with headset and webcam, and a strong Internet connection.
• PayPal account in your full name.
• Skype account.

FAQ

Do I need to speak Korean to teach English?
No. Korean students study English in English, so classes are conducted 100% in English.

Are there teaching materials available?
Yes. We provide various web-based materials and PDF e-books that are free to use.

What devices are required?
A computer or laptop with a headset, webcam, and a strong Internet connection.

How often do I get paid?
Weekly, via PayPal invoice. The system automatically calculates weekly payments.

What are the peak teaching times?
Monday to Friday 6–10 a.m. EST and Sunday to Thursday 5–9 p.m. EST.

Is a bachelor’s degree required?
No. Many teachers are university students. If you meet the requirements above, a degree is not required.

Freelance wage

Canadian Dollar: $16 CAD per 50-minute class ($8 CAD per 25-minute class)

US Dollar: $12.6 USD per 50-minute class ($6.3 USD per 25-minute class)
