Online English Tutor

LRDG, originally from Canada with a branch in Taiwan, is looking for passionate English tutors to join our team. This is a remote position for tutors who will guide adult learners, with all necessary materials provided by our system. For more information, visit LRDG Taiwan at: https://lrdgtaiwan.com/

Requirements

• Must meet at least two of the following criteria:
• TESOL/TEFL certification
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education, psychology, sociology, business, etc.
• More than 4 years of experience in English teaching or tutoring (experience with adult learners is preferred)
• Regular availability to teach on both weekday and weekend mornings in Taiwan time (for example, between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. GMT+8)
• Able to provide a minimum of 10 hours of teaching slots per week
• Proficient in using video conferencing software such as Teams, Google Meet, or Zoom
• Must have a personal computer equipped with a webcam and microphone
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrates dynamism, creativity, and adaptability to different learners

Bonus Qualifications

• Intermediate proficiency in Mandarin (preferred but not necessary)
• Familiarity with Taiwanese culture

The onboarding date is set for the end of November to early December.
