One-on-One Adult English Teacher

Since 2007, EnglishChannel has offered one-on-one adult English conversation classes. EnglishChannel is looking for talented and passionate native-speaking teachers.

Location

• EnglishChannel - Guro center (Seoul, Guro)
• 5-minute walk from Guro Digital Complex Station on Subway Line 2

Qualifications

• University (4-year) graduate
• Able to obtain an E-2 visa
• Able to work for at least 2 years
• Nationality (native English speakers only): USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand

Preferences

• TESOL or degree graduates
• Experience teaching English conversation classes

Work details

• One-on-one English conversation classes (adults)
• Salary is fixed: it will not change if you teach fewer classes or if a student is absent

Working conditions

• Working hours (Full-time, split):
  • Mon–Fri: 07:00–11:00 (4 hours) & 18:00–22:00 (4 hours)
  • Sat: 09:30–18:00 (8 hours, twice a month)
• Start date (2 days of training): 26.04~

Salary

• Full-time (split) Total: 3.1 ~ 3.5M KRW per month
• Breakdown:
  • Base salary: 2.2M KRW
  • Split bonus: 0.2M KRW
  • Saturday (twice a month): 0.3M KRW (0.15M KRW per Saturday)
  • Housing assistance: 0.4M KRW
  • Attendance bonus: up to 0.4M KRW
