About this position

Centurion International School Bangkok (CISB) empowers every learner to achieve excellence through an exploratory Cambridge education. As the school moves forward with its WASC accreditation process and integrates a robust Project-Based Learning (PBL) framework, we are seeking structured, professionally minded Native English-speaking educators for the upcoming academic year.

About the Roles

  • Primary English, Social Studies & ESL/ELL Homeroom: Year 3–Year 5 English, Year 3 Social Studies, and Year 4 ESL/ELL support. Teaching load: 23 teaching hours per week.
  • Early Years Foundation 1 (F1) Lead Teacher: Early childhood classroom management and foundational literacy and social development. Female candidate preferred for this early-years setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver Cambridge International Curriculum and Project-Based Learning (PBL) units.
  • Use the centralized online gradebook for formative and summative assessments.
  • Regularly submit student work samples and lesson templates for the WASC accreditation repository.
  • Implement school-wide positive behavior management and restorative practices.
  • Lead parent-teacher meetings and produce regular digital newsletters.

Requirements

  • Native English speakers only (passport holders from UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, IE, or SA).
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a relevant subject-specific degree (English, History, etc.) is highly preferred.
  • A strong interest in, or experience with, Project-Based Learning (PBL).
  • A collaborative mindset and strict adherence to administrative submission deadlines.

Benefits & Details

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:15 am – 4:00 pm (most days finish by 3:30 pm).
  • Contract: 12-month contract (August to July).
  • Paid holidays: 50+ paid days off per year, including Christmas, New Year, October, April, and summer breaks.
