Native English Teacher Bangkok

Modulo Language School, the fastest-growing language institution in Bangkok, is seeking a full-time native English-speaking teacher. This role requires availability during evenings and weekends. You will work with a diverse group of learners, including adults, children, and teenagers, in both private and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses such as general English, business English, academic test preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC), and phonics.
• Conduct private lessons and small group classes (maximum of 8 students per group).
• Work with corporate clients, potentially teaching larger classes.

Compensation and Benefits

• 410 baht per 50-minute private lesson (weekday rates); weekend rates increased by 15% on Saturdays and 10% on Sundays.
• Small group classes pay up to 600 baht per lesson.
• First-year teachers can expect to earn over 45,000 baht monthly, with rate increases for second-year contracts.
• Limited paid leave and up to 34 days of unpaid leave.
• Comprehensive support, training, and coaching.
• School locations accessible via Bangkok's BTS and MRT: Siam Paragon, Central World, Central Rama IX, and Icon Siam.
• Assistance with visas and work permits; costs covered by Modulo.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• English teaching certificate (CELTA, TEFL, TESOL).
• Current residency in Thailand or willingness to relocate.
• Availability for evenings and weekends.
• Native English speaker from Canada, the US, the UK, Ireland, or Australia.
• Willingness to commit to a one-year contract.
