Native Chinese Teacher Wanted for Bangkok Language School

Full-time position, including evenings and weekends. Join the fastest-growing language school in Bangkok! Modulo Language School is seeking a full-time native Chinese-speaking teacher who is available to teach evenings and weekends.

Our ideal candidate is a personable, knowledgeable, friendly, and effective teacher who is dedicated to helping students learn and improving their own teaching skills.

As a qualified Chinese teacher, you will teach a mix of adult learners (70%+), children, and teenagers of all levels. We teach a wide range of courses, including general Chinese, business Chinese, academic tests (HSK etc.), phonics, and many more. 95% of our lessons are private, although we also have some small groups, with up to 8 students. Modulo also does a lot of corporate work, and those classes are sometimes a little larger.

What makes Modulo a great place to work?

• Competitive rates for teachers: 370 baht per 50-minute private lesson (Monday to Friday), with a 15% increase on Saturdays and 10% on Sundays.
• Small group classes pay up to 560 baht per lesson.
• First-year teachers can expect to earn over 43,000 baht per month on average, with the rate increasing to 390 baht per lesson for teachers on their second contract.
• Up to 40 days of unpaid leave for holidays and vacations per 12 months.
• Coaching and training are provided and fully paid for.
• Four conveniently located schools on Bangkok's BTS and MRT systems: Siam Paragon, Central World, Central Rama IX, and Icon Siam.
• Visas and work permits are organized for all employees, and Modulo covers the cost of the work permit.
