Learning Support Intervention Teacher

International School of Samui in Koh Samui is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Intervention Teacher. This full-time role involves providing academic and behavioral support for students across Key Stages 1, 2, and 3.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students overcome challenges and succeed in their education. The role focuses on creating a supportive and encouraging environment so students can gain confidence and reach their potential.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with individual students and small groups to improve literacy, mathematics, and overall learning development.
• Plan and deliver targeted intervention programs for students needing extra assistance.
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and evaluate the effectiveness of support strategies.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and the SENCO to ensure consistent and effective guidance.
• Provide pastoral care and support students' emotional well-being.

Requirements

• Experience working with pupils with low attainment or specific learning needs.
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum for KS1, KS2, or KS3.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Flexible, positive, and proactive attitude.
