Kindergarten English Teacher Taipei

Uncle Sam American School is seeking qualified English teachers from English-speaking countries such as the U.S.A., England, Australia, and South Africa who meet the requirements set by Taiwanese immigration rules.

The position is based in Taipei, Taiwan, near the Jiangzicui MRT stop, about a 20-second walk from Exit 5. The role begins on June 1, 2026.

The work schedule is Monday to Friday and focuses on kindergarten classes. Morning sessions run from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, with a 10- to 20-minute break between classes. Lunch is from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm, and lunch is provided by the school, although teachers may eat outside if they prefer. Afternoon classes are held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, with a 10-minute break between classes.

Additional activities for students include Art, S.T.E.A.M., P.E., Storytime, and occasional outings once every month or two.

Applicants should ideally already be based in Taipei and have experience teaching kindergarten students. While an APRC holder is preferred, other options will be considered.
