Hi — thank you for reading our job post. Brighton Kindergarten in Gwangju, Jeollanam-do, is urgently seeking a native English teacher to join our team in March 2026.

About Us

Brighton Kindergarten was established in 2013. We are located in Gwangju, Jeollanam-do, and currently have a team of 11 staff members, including a native head teacher for additional support.

Details

• Start date: March 2026
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (early leave at 4:30 pm 2–3 times a week when classes end)
• Curriculum: Provided
• Salary: 2.65 million KRW per month
• Housing: Single room apartment within a 25-minute walk from the school; gas and electricity costs are covered by the employee
• Teaching hours: Maximum of 25 hours per week
• Lunch: Provided separately from children
• Annual leave: 11 days in the first year, plus public holidays
• Age groups: 6–12 years
• Class size: Up to 12 students

Responsibilities

• Teach English to kindergarten students (ages 6–12)
• Prepare and follow provided curriculum
• Write quarterly report cards
• Supervise monthly field trips and themed activity days

Qualifications

• Native English speaker
• Available to start in March 2026
• Currently residing in South Korea (applicants must be in-country)
