Kindergarten and Primary English Teachers
About this position
Saint Joseph Mueang Ake School in Rangsit, about 10 minutes from Don Mueang Airport, is hiring Native English-speaking and Non-Native English-speaking teachers for Kindergarten 1–3 and Primary. This is a direct-hire position with the school.
Start immediately or by the end of July/August.
Eligibility Requirements
- Native English speakers preferred
- NES applicants must hold a passport from: USA, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand
Salary, Bonuses, and Financial Benefits
- Base salary: NES 48,000 THB; NNES 25,000 THB
- A small, refundable security deposit is deducted during the 90-day probation period
- 12-month contract (paid for all months)
- Employment continuity bonus: 1,250 THB per month, accumulated and paid in full at contract completion
- End-of-contract bonus: 10,000–40,000 THB, based on service and performance
- Work permit fully covered by the school
- Annual salary increase: guaranteed 2–3%, performance-based
- Paid school breaks after probation: April (14–30 paid days, based on years of service), October (2 paid weeks), and Christmas (approximately 9 paid days)
- All Thai public holidays paid
- Health and accident insurance after probation
- Housing assistance (service only, not funding) available near a university area for teachers coming directly from abroad
- Airport pickup (service only, not funding) for teachers coming directly from abroad
Position Details
- Level: Kindergarten
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 07:15–16:15
- Teaching load: 13–18 periods per week, with a maximum cap of 20 periods per week
- Homeroom-based: one assigned classroom
- Co-teaching with Thai teachers
- Teaching is limited to your assigned class only
- Opportunities to teach extra classes for additional income
Required Qualifications
- Experience teaching multiple subjects in English
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, PGCE, PGCEi, or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification
- Patient, caring, and professional
Additional Notes
- 60–90 day probation period
- Participation in up to 5 school events per year, which may include weekends
- Visa and work permit support provided; details will be explained during hiring
