Japanese Teacher Full-Time

Modulo Language is Bangkok's premier provider of private and small-group Japanese lessons. We are growing rapidly and seeking passionate teachers dedicated to delivering excellent lessons and being part of a strong team in Bangkok.

Position

Full-time native Japanese-speaking teacher available to teach evenings and weekends. You will teach a mix of adult learners (70%+), children, and teenagers of all levels. Courses include general Japanese, business Japanese, exam preparation, reading, writing, phonics and more. Most lessons are private; small groups are up to 8 students, and some corporate classes may be larger.

Compensation

• 410 baht per 50-minute private lesson (Monday to Friday)
• 15% increase on Saturdays and 10% on Sundays
• Small group classes pay up to 600 baht per lesson
• First-year teachers can expect to earn over 45,000 baht per month on average
• Rate increases to 430 baht per lesson for teachers on their second contract

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree
• Hold a Japanese teaching certificate
• Currently reside in Thailand or be willing to relocate
• Be available on evenings and weekends
• Be a native Japanese speaker from Japan
• Be willing to make a one-year commitment
