About this position
BFI is seeking a qualified and dedicated Cambridge IGCSE Business Studies and Economics Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year, commencing 1st June, 2026.
Position: IGCSE & IBDP Business Studies & Economics Teacher
Responsibilities
- Teach and prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE and IBDP examinations.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum.
- Use diverse teaching methods, including case studies, discussions, and projects, to enhance student learning.
- Assess and record student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and collaborative initiatives.
- Handle school accounting duties, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with financial regulations.
- Assist with financial audits and maintain accurate financial records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Studies, Business Administration (BBA), Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Relevant certifications such as ACCA, LCCI, CPA, or equivalent are advantageous.
- Minimum 2 years’ teaching experience in Cambridge IGCSE Accounting and/or Business Studies.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and business concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong command of spoken and written academic English.
- Prior experience in an educational or school accounting environment is a plus.
