IELTS Training Instructor

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic, high-quality, communicative IELTS language training across a range of student levels, in line with the standards set out in the academic materials.
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback throughout the course to help improve trainee performance in all four skills.
• Grade IELTS essays in a timely manner, providing accurate and constructive feedback in line with the public band descriptors.
• Manage student progress through the CRM system in a timely manner, in partnership with other team members, to provide a coordinated and comprehensive service to students.
• Contribute to the development, evaluation, and improvement of IELTS training courses, materials, and related services to ensure courses remain up to date.
• Actively engage in professional development and performance management to ensure quality and high standards in training.
• Support local marketing and promotional strategy, and assist other departments in delivering excellent customer service.
• Ensure training meets student needs and IELTS goals, as well as company standards and organizational expectations.
• Proactively use technology during lessons when required and for student support follow-up (LMS system).

Job Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in any field.
• A recognized teaching certificate (CELTA or equivalent).
• At least 3-5 years of experience teaching IELTS.
• Sound knowledge of the IELTS system and the exams.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google equivalents.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends to meet customer demands.
• 5:00pm – 9:45pm Monday to Friday.
• 8:00am – 6:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
