Full Time English Teacher for Children in Saitama
About this position
KidzTalk, English School for Children, is seeking a responsible, flexible, and creative English teacher who will be available from September 2026. The position begins in October 2026 after the training period.
KidzTalk is a private English school for children aged 4 to 18. There are about 270 students in total, with no more than 14 students in one class. Students attend once a week for an hour and a half. Classes are shared by a native English full-time teacher, a native English part-time teacher, and two Japanese full-time teachers.
The school teaches communicative English using coursebooks tailored to the students' levels. The goal is to make learning English fun. In addition, supplementary materials are used to foster creativity and self-expression.
Special events include:
- Week-long Halloween and Christmas parties
- A 3-day summer school trip
- An English card game tournament
Working hours
3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Holidays and accommodation
- Saturdays, Sundays, and Japanese national holidays
- Four weeks of paid vacation per year
- Fully furnished accommodation with one bedroom, a dining kitchen, a bath with a bathtub, and a separate toilet
- Accommodation is 5 minutes by bike and 10 minutes on foot from the school
- The rent is 80,000 yen, with 50% subsidized by the school, so your cost is 40,000 yen
Requirements
- BA required
- TESL/ESL certification or teaching experience preferred
- Applicants must currently reside in Japan
