RVF International is currently placing candidates in Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) positions in public schools across Japan. This opportunity is perfect for recent graduates, career changers, or anyone looking for an exciting new adventure abroad.
What You'll Do
- Work alongside Japanese teachers to help students improve their English communication skills while introducing them to different cultures and perspectives.
- Teach elementary, junior high, or high school students.
- Team-teach with experienced Japanese teachers.
- Focus on conversational English and cultural exchange.
- Full-time position (Monday–Friday).
- One-year renewable contract.
Salary & Benefits
- Starting salary of approximately ¥215,000 JPY per month (roughly $1,325 USD).

Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree (any field).
- Native English speaker or near-native fluency.
- Eligible for a Japanese work visa.
- Clean criminal background check.
- Positive, adaptable, and enthusiastic about working with children.
- No teaching experience is required.
- A TEFL/TESOL certification is recommended and can be completed through RVF International before departure if needed.
