Foreign Teaching Positions in China

We are seeking qualified foreign teachers to deliver instruction at local public schools, private institutions, foreign language schools, bilingual schools, and international schools. Teaching subjects include, but are not limited to, English, mathematics, science, physical education, music, geography, chemistry, and other related disciplines.

Positions involve collaboration with international schools offering globally recognized curricula such as IB, A-Level, IGCSE, and Cambridge programmes. We also provide structured development platforms for new teachers to improve their pedagogical skills and professional growth.

Position Type 1: Foreign English Teachers

• Location: Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces mainly, such as Hangzhou, Ningbo, Nanjing, Wuxi, and Suzhou. Schools are also available in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Qingdao.
• School types: International, bilingual, foreign language, public, and private schools.
• Age group: 7-12, 13-15, 16-18, 18+.
• Class size: 25-40 students.
• Work time: Around 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, depending on the school; around 20 classes per week.
• Benefits: Salary package of 20,000-30,000 RMB before tax plus housing. University salary packages will be lower. Flight allowance and medical insurance are offered. Enjoy around 6-7 weeks of summer holiday and around 2-3 weeks of winter holiday.
• Requirements: Native English speakers only; preferably under 50 years old; at least a bachelor’s degree; TEFL/TESOL/CELTA/PGCE or another certified teaching license; teaching experience preferred, especially for international schools.

Position Type 2: Kindergarten Teachers

• Location: Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces mainly, such as Hangzhou, Ningbo, Nanjing, Wuxi, and Suzhou. Schools are also available in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Qingdao.
• School types: International, bilingual, foreign language, and private schools.
• Age group: 2-6.
• Class size: 20-25 students.
• Work time: Around 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, depending on the school.
• Benefits: Salary package of 20,000-35,000 RMB before tax plus housing. Flight allowance and medical insurance are offered. Enjoy around 4-7 weeks of summer holiday and around 2-3 weeks of winter holiday.
• Requirements: Native English speakers preferred; under 45 years old; at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in early childhood education; TEFL/TESOL/CELTA/PGCE or another certified teaching license in early childhood education; kindergarten teaching experience preferred. Kindergartens in Zhejiang Province can only accept teachers who have at least 24 months of teaching experience with 2-6-year-old children in kindergartens or training centers after receiving their bachelor’s degree certificate.

Position Type 3: Foreign Subjects Teachers

• Subjects: Art, sports, music, science, computer science, biology, chemistry, math, and physics.
• Location: Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces mainly, such as Hangzhou, Ningbo, Nanjing, Wuxi, and Suzhou. Schools are also available in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Qingdao.
• School types: International, bilingual, foreign language, public, and private schools.
• Age group: 7-12, 13-15, 16-18, 18+.
• Class size: 25-40 students.
• Work time: Around 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, depending on the school; around 20 classes per week.
• Benefits: Salary package of 20,000-35,000 RMB before tax plus housing. Flight allowance and medical insurance are offered. Enjoy around 6-7 weeks of summer holiday and around 2-3 weeks of winter holiday.
• Requirements: Fluent English speaker; preferably under 50 years old; at least a bachelor’s degree with a subject-related major; TEFL/TESOL/CELTA/PGCE or another subject-related teaching license; several years of subject-related teaching experience preferred. Non-native English speakers must have at least 24 months of subject-related teaching experience in schools after receiving their bachelor’s degree certificate with a subject-related major. International schools prefer teachers with A-Level, IGCSE, or IB curriculum teaching experience.

1. Kindergarten Teachers Needed from Late August 2026

• Location: Hangzhou, China.
• Work time: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Salary: 22,000-28,000 RMB per month before tax, negotiable for candidates with IB experience.
• Student age: 2-6 years old.
• Class size: 20 children.
• Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or above in Early Childhood Education or a related field; 2+ years of teaching experience with 3-6-year-old children in a kindergarten or training center after earning a bachelor’s degree; TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification is a plus; native English speaker (US, Canada, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, etc.); under 45 years old preferred; able to transfer a work visa through the kindergarten.
• Benefits: Flight allowance; medical insurance; paid public holidays; paid winter holiday of 2-3 weeks; paid summer holiday of 6-7 weeks.

2. Homeroom Kindergarten Teachers Needed

• Location: Nantong, Jiangsu (low rental cost and close to Shanghai).
• Start date: End of August 2026.
• Students age: 2-6.
• Class size: 13-16.
• Working time: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a 1-hour lunch break.
• Chinese teacher assistant in class is offered.
• Requirements: Native English speakers only; under 40 years old preferred; bachelor’s degree at least; CELTA/TEFL/TESOL certified; 1 year of kindergarten or training center teaching experience preferred; open to teachers with no teaching experience; must sign a 2-year contract.
• Salary & Benefits: 24,000-25,000 RMB after tax, negotiable based on qualifications. Paid leave includes 2 weeks of summer holiday, 1 week of winter holiday, 1 day for Thanksgiving, and 1 day for Christmas. 12 months full pay and insurance provided.

3. Primary School Teachers Needed in Hangzhou

• Kids age: 6-12.
• Class size: 25-40.
• Starting time: August 2026.
• Benefits: 18,000-23,000 RMB before tax plus extra housing allowance. Other benefits are offered.
• Requirements: Native speakers only; at least a bachelor’s degree; TEFL/TESOL/CELTA/PGCE certified; teaching experience preferred.

4. One Middle School Teacher Needed in Ningbo

• International school in China.
• Curriculum: IB MYP.
• Location: Ningbo, China (coastal city).
• Students age: 13-15.
• Salary & Benefits: Annual salary of CNY 210,000-360,000, based on qualifications and experience. Benefits include housing allowance, airfare reimbursement, bonus, settling-in and relocation support, and global health insurance.

5. Hangzhou Primary School Homeroom Teachers Needed from August 2026

• Basic info: Location: Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.
• Curriculum: IB curriculum.
• Age group: 6-12 years old.
• Work time: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Sometimes extra club classes from 5:00 p.m. to 5:40 p.m. may be required if the teacher does not have enough classes.
• Up to 15 classes per week, 40 minutes per class. The 15 classes include English, sports, music, art, low-level drama, and topic classes based on the IB curriculum. Teachers must join school activities.
• Benefits: Salary package of 20,000-24,000 RMB before tax in total, including salary and housing allowance. Flight allowance and medical insurance are offered. Enjoy around 6-7 weeks of summer holiday and around 2-3 weeks of winter holiday.

6. Kindergarten Teacher Needed in Shaoxing

• Location: Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province.
• School type: International kindergarten.
• Start date: September 2026.
• Age group: 2-6 years old.
• Workload: Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00 or 08:40-17:40. Weekend experience classes may be scheduled, with compensatory time off provided.
• Requirements: 2+ years of English teaching experience in a kindergarten with children aged 2-6; 2 years of homeroom teaching experience; bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Education; master’s degree is a plus; TEFL/TESOL certification or a teaching license; experience in international schools preferred; fluent and accurate pronunciation for non-native English speakers; passionate about children and early childhood education; professional, reliable, law-abiding; under 40 years old.
• Compensation & Benefits: 14,000-18,000 RMB per month before tax, including salary and housing allowance. 2-year contract preferred. Winter vacation: 2 weeks. Summer vacation: 2 weeks. Holiday allowance offered. Additional benefits include compensatory leave for weekend classes.

7. IB Kindergarten in Nanjing Needs Homeroom Teachers for August 2026

• Preference: Female candidates preferred.
• Students age: 2-6.
• Location: Qixia District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province.
• Job title: Homeroom kindergarten teacher.
• Working hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break.
• Class size: No more than 18 students in each class; each class has 2 Chinese teachers and 1 nanny.
• Salary & Benefits: 22,000-25,000 RMB per month before tax, with housing included in the package. Flight bonus of 6,000 RMB after the contract ends. Free lunch is provided during working days. Paid health insurance. Fully paid holidays include public Chinese holidays plus school holidays: 2 weeks of summer break, 2 weeks of winter break, and 1 week of Christmas holiday.
