Foreign Teachers in China - Multiple Roles

Hangzhou Zij Elite Education Technologies and Consulting Co., Ltd is recruiting foreign teachers for positions starting March or September 2026. According to local bureau policy, these positions are only open to teachers under 60 years old.

Position type 1: Foreign English Teachers

• Location: Zhejiang, Jiangsu provinces mainly — Hangzhou, Ningbo, Nanjing, Wuxi, Suzhou. Also positions in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Qingdao.
• School types: International, bilingual, foreign language, public, and private schools.
• Age groups: 7-12; 13-15; 16-18; 18+.
• Class size: 25-40.
• Work time: Around 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (depends on school); about 20 classes per week.

Benefits:

• Salary package: 20-35K RMB before tax plus housing (university salary packages may be lower).
• Flight allowance and medical insurance offered.
• Approximately 6-7 week summer holiday and 2-3 week winter holiday.

Requirements:

• Open to native English speakers only.
• Hold at least a bachelor’s degree.
• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA/PGCE or other teaching license certified.
• Teaching experience preferred, especially for international schools.

Position type 2: Kindergarten Teachers

• Location: Zhejiang, Jiangsu provinces mainly — Hangzhou, Ningbo, Nanjing, Wuxi, Suzhou. Also positions in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Qingdao.
• School types: International, bilingual, foreign language, and private schools.
• Age group: 2-6.
• Class size: 20-25.
• Work time: Around 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (depends on school).

• Salary package: 20-35K RMB before tax plus housing.

• Approximately 4-7 week summer holiday and 2-3 week winter holiday.

Requirements:

• Native English speakers preferred.
• Hold at least a bachelor’s degree, majoring in early-childhood education preferred.
• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA/PGCE or other early childhood education teaching license certified.
• Kindergarten teaching experience preferred.
• Kindergartens in Zhejiang Province require at least 24 months' teaching experience with 2–6 year-old children in kindergartens or training centers after receiving the bachelor’s degree certificate.

Position type 3: Foreign Subject Teachers

• Subjects: Art, Sports, Music, Science, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, Math, Physics, etc.
• Location: Zhejiang, Jiangsu provinces mainly — Hangzhou, Ningbo, Nanjing, Wuxi, Suzhou. Also positions in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Qingdao.
• School types: International, bilingual, foreign language, public, and private schools.
• Age groups: 7-12; 13-15; 16-18; 18+.
• Class size: 25-40.
• Work time: Around 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (depends on school); about 20 classes per week.

• Can speak English fluently.
• Hold at least a bachelor's degree with a subject-related major.
• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA/PGCE or other subject-related teaching license certified.
• Several years of subject-related teaching experience preferred.
• Non-native English speakers must have at least 24 months' subject-related teaching experience in schools after receiving the bachelor's degree with a subject-related major.
• International schools will prefer teachers with A level, IGCSE, or IB curriculum teaching experience.
