Western International School was founded in western Honduras, Santa Rosa de Copán. We are a bilingual institution that started with one campus in Santa Rosa de Lima. After the first campus's amazing success, we expanded into two of the largest and most populous cities in our country: San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa.

Our mission as an institution is to improve education in our country by offering an integrated education that includes characteristics and instills competencies such as academic excellence, scientific investigation, guidance in developing liberal arts, and other skills, while reinforcing moral values and much more.

We work hard to build a team of teachers committed to continuous improvement, but above all, a team that makes a daily effort to help and guide our children in every way. We treat our teachers with respect and support them by working as a team and looking out for one another. In addition, we do all we can to help teachers adapt to our culture and educational system in the best way possible.
