ESL and Subject Teachers in China

SIE is hiring ESL and subject teachers for various cities in mainland China, including Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Beijing, Zhongshan, Dongguan, Foshan, Wuhan, Qingdao, and more.

Position: SIE kindergarten to High School ESL Teacher

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00–12:00 and 14:00–18:00. Maximum of 25 lessons per week. Each lesson is 40–45 minutes.

Student Ages: Kindergarten (3–6), Primary School (7–12), Middle School (13–15), High School (15–18)

Start Date: September 2026 to February 2027

Responsibilities

• Prepare lessons using prescribed textbooks.
• Teach lessons, assign homework, correct homework, prepare tests, and help students with tests.
• Develop specific teaching plans and classroom activities in line with the school's teaching program and textbooks.
• Use engaging teaching methods to improve students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• Participate in teaching and research activities and continuously improve teaching methods.
• Review students' assignments carefully and provide timely feedback.
• Participate in school activities such as open lessons and teaching competitions.
• Assist with English subject management, including textbook selection and teaching resource development.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
• Communicate with parents and provide feedback on students' academic progress.
• Take part in school events such as Sports Day, Cultural Festival, and English Club.
• Complete other tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• Native speaker only.
• Passionate about education, with sound professional ethics and exemplary conduct.
• Strong English language foundation and the ability to teach in English.
• Good knowledge of contemporary English teaching theory and methodology, with strong teaching and classroom management skills.
• Good communication skills, organizational ability, and teamwork spirit.
• Ability to learn and apply new teaching concepts and technologies proactively.
• Candidates with qualifications in English teaching or education-related fields, and those holding a teaching qualification certificate, will be given priority.
• Kindergarten position: Bachelor’s or master’s degree, clean health and criminal background for a Chinese work visa, and two years of teaching experience with a reference letter.
• ESL position: Bachelor’s or master’s degree, more than two years of teaching experience, and a clean health and criminal background for a Chinese work visa.
• Related major position: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related major (for example, English, literature, or education), more than two years of full-time school teaching experience, PGCE or State Teacher Certification, and a clean health and criminal background for a Chinese work visa.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly salary: 22K–25K before tax for the kindergarten position.
