TLI is seeking an English Teaching Assistant (ETA) to work with the Taipei City Government at the Taipei Language Institute. If you are passionate about teaching and enthusiastic about creating a dynamic learning environment, we want to hear from you.
TLI has over 65 years of experience teaching Chinese to foreigners and is committed to making language learning fun and accessible. As a collaborator on the ETA Project with the Taipei City Government, TLI aims to enhance English language education for elementary and junior high school students in Taipei City.

Responsibilities
- Work at elementary or junior high schools in Taipei City.
- Assist local teachers in various subjects.
- Create a supportive English learning environment and encourage students to speak confidently.
- Design and implement engaging activities, including English Corner sessions.
- Manage classrooms effectively and maintain discipline.
- Attend training sessions and meetings.
Working Hours
- Full availability from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
- Teach a maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Stay on campus as required for teaching tasks.
- Obtain approval before leaving campus during work hours.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English or a related field; TEFL or TESOL certification preferred.
- Native English speaker and ability to design course content.
