About this position
Hello! We are looking for an energetic, warm, and highly interactive Native English play tutor for our 4-year-old daughter for a 6-week intensive fun program. Teachers with International School teaching experience are highly preferred!
About Our Daughter
She is a highly imaginative, empathetic, and resilient girl who loves Netflix's The Creature Cases, building Legos, and molding clay. She is very confident and loves expressing her imagination. Our goal is for her to acquire English naturally like a native speaker through rich, authentic interaction—strictly NO ESL methods or worksheets.
The "Creature Cases" Program (Curriculum Fully Provided!)
You do NOT need to plan the lessons! We have a complete, minute-by-minute 120-minute daily action script ready for you. The theme is "The Creature Cases." You will act as her "Agent Partner," and together you will solve animal mysteries using an iPad, build Lego habitats, make clay creatures, and publish a mini-storybook every Friday. Your only job is to follow the fun script, act enthusiastically, and ask open-ended questions (e.g., "Oh no, the Lego tower crashed! How can we build it stronger?") to draw out her thoughts.
The Role & Schedule
- Period: 6 Weeks (Starting April ~ until May 15th)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 days a week
- Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM (2 hours/day, Total 10 hours/week)
- Location: Gumi-dong, Bundang (Near Muji-gae Village)
- Pay: Up to 800,000 KRW per week (Negotiable depending on experience)
Who We Are Looking For
- Preferred: Candidates with International School (IB/PYP, etc.) teaching experience who understand inquiry-based learning.
- Someone with high energy who loves role-playing and acting silly.
- Someone who can act as a facilitator, not a traditional teacher.
