VIS Experimental Junior and Senior High Schools is a pioneering English immersion day school that prioritizes hands-on learning. Our unique Project-Based Learning curriculum fosters students’ curiosity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. As Taiwan's sole school with a core Project-Based Learning (PBL) curriculum, we are reshaping education and empowering students for the future.
We are seeking a full-time college counselor, English & Art PBL Instructor, and a Math and Science Instructor for the 2026-27 school year. These roles involve teaching subjects in a subject-based format. We offer a top-tier learning environment with a diverse faculty from global universities.
General Responsibilities
- Teach English Literature aligned with curriculum standards
- Conduct meaningful interdisciplinary Art PBL experiences that link academic content to real-world applications
- Collaborate with peers to create engaging, student-centered learning settings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Legal eligibility to work in Taiwan (APRC, Marriage ARC, or Gold Card)
- Strong subject knowledge and effective teaching abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching certification (e.g., Postgraduate Diploma in Education, American State Certification)
- Minimum two years of middle or high school teaching experience
- Familiarity with or experience in Project-Based Learning
- Collaborative mindset and dedication to innovative education
