About this position

Institute of Language, Art and Culture at Suan Dusit University is seeking a Native English-Speaking Instructor to join our team.

Salary and Incentives:

  • Base salary of 30,000 baht per month, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Location: Institute of Language, Art and Culture, Suan Dusit University, Bangkok.

Required Qualifications:

  • Native speaker of English from a country where English is the primary language.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Linguistics, English Language Teaching, English, Education, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1–2 years of English teaching experience; university-level experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or certification in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, English Education, or a related field.
  • Experience in teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP), English for Specific Purposes (ESP), TOEIC, IELTS, or other standardized test-preparation courses.
  • Experience in organizing language-related activities, workshops, or international programs.
  • Basic knowledge of Thai language and culture.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and/or graduate English courses such as General English, Academic English, Business English, Presentation Skills, TOEIC/IELTS preparation, and English communication skills.
  • Develop teaching materials and online learning resources.
  • Organize English camps, workshops, language clubs, and other extracurricular activities.
  • Provide proofreading and editing services.
  • Support and participate in university events and activities, including those outside Bangkok or outside normal working hours, including weekends.

Benefits:

  • Sick leave: Up to 60 days per year, with up to 30 days paid.
  • Maternity leave: Up to 98 days per childbirth, with up to 45 days paid.
  • Personal leave: Up to 45 days per year, with up to 45 days paid.
