English Homeroom Teacher

Phoenix Wittaya School is currently looking for an English homeroom teacher. We are expanding our school and need teachers for various levels going forward.

You must be a native English speaker from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, or South Africa, with a real university degree and at least 2+ years of teaching experience in Thailand. Our strong preference is for teachers who are properly qualified with either a degree in education, PGCE, or a postgraduate diploma in education. The candidate should also be passionate, energetic, creative, and responsible, with a caring attitude toward children.

Phoenix Wittaya School is a well-established bilingual school with Thai and English programmes. It is located in Pattaya, which is a great place to work if you enjoy city life or peaceful beach life. There are many cultural attractions in the area, and Bangkok is only a couple of hours' drive away.

Basic Job Description

• Facilitate teaching and learning
• Teach English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills), grammar, mathematics, science, and social studies
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:40-16:00

What Phoenix Offers

• Up to 60,000 THB for qualified teachers (degree in education or degree plus a postgraduate certificate in education); less if unqualified, but not less than 50,000 THB
• Free accident insurance, covering up to 10,000 THB
• Approximately 7 weeks of paid vacation, allocated at various times of the year upon passing probation

• Free education for the teacher's children (up to 2 children). This benefit covers admission and tuition fees only.
• Visa and work permit fees reimbursed by the school upon completion of the contract, with assistance on visa paperwork
