Elementary IB English Teacher

KNS Academy Elementary Department is looking for qualified Native/Gyopo teachers to teach elementary school students. As a teacher in the KNS Academy Elementary Department, you will teach students from Grade 2 to Grade 6. You will teach English through our IB Program and other English-language subjects to advanced elementary school students, helping them build confidence in English listening, speaking, reading, writing, and critical thinking.

Specialized Requirements for Candidates

• Must be citizens of the following countries: U.S.A, Canada, U.K, New Zealand, and Australia
• Native English speaker
• Literature/Humanities majors preferred
• Instructor capable of giving literature-oriented lectures
• Apostilled diploma for those who graduated outside of Korea
• Apostilled Federal Criminal Background Check issued within the last 6 months
• Must have all required documents: an apostilled nationwide criminal background check and an apostilled diploma from a 4-year accredited university
• A self-medical health check

Responsibilities

• Lesson planning
• Essay correction
• Daily reports and student reports
• Report cards
• Student interviews
• Follow and prepare lesson plans and instructional materials for classes
• Manage an organized and professional classroom that supports learning and the development of students' academic skills
• Actively engage students in the learning process
• Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect the learning styles and needs of students
• Utilize technology to strengthen the teaching and learning process
• Participate in professional development activities and seminars aligned with the assigned curriculum and students' needs
