We are looking to hire a dedicated elementary teacher to educate our students. The position starts in August 2026.

About Us
  • The school is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) and is an IB World School.
  • The academic curriculum is based on the Core American Standards Curriculum.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in education.
  • Valid teaching license preferred.
  • Preferred 1–2 years of experience; new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Proficient knowledge of teaching strategies and methods.
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct instruction and supervision of students.
  • Help students progress academically within the curriculum and apply appropriate problem-solving skills to their lives.
  • Teach assigned classes or subjects as directed by the principal.
  • Follow the prescribed curriculum for each grade level.
  • Assist in the development, creation, and selection of curriculum, instructional materials, and supplies.
  • Be responsible for effective instruction, training, and evaluation of student progress and for classroom management; report to the Principal on student progress when requested.
  • Encourage students in the pursuit of lifelong learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of students’ academic and behavioral performance as directed by the Principal.
  • Participate in regular conferences with parents and keep records in the prescribed school format.
  • Model and promote respect for religion and principles of Islamic morality and virtues such as truth, justice, loyalty, love of country, humanity, benevolence, sobriety, industry, frugality, purity, and temperance.
  • Provide direction and support for student activities and after-school clubs.
  • Promote the American Creativity Academy in a positive fashion at all times.
  • Support cooperation and coordination among staff members.
  • Attend conferences with other teachers to discuss academic and social needs of students as directed by the Principal.
  • Make appropriate and timely referrals of students in difficulty to designated support personnel.
  • Deliver required documentation, reports, and school property when contract ends or employment ceases, as directed by the Superintendent.
  • Use only textbooks approved by the BOT and Ministry of Education.
  • Attend and actively participate in grade-level meetings, scheduled staff meetings, and serve on faculty committees as requested.
  • Supervise students in the classroom, hallways, playground, and during breaks, recess, and dismissal.
  • Follow school policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and enhance professional competence by attending in-service training, seminars, and college-level courses.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Principal.
