Central International School (CIS) is seeking an NES Elementary Homeroom Teacher (Grade 1 or 2) for a 1-academic-year contract with paid holidays and visa support.

Position Information

• Position: Elementary Homeroom Teacher (Grade 1 or 2)
• Location: Bangkok, Thailand
• Start Date: June 29, 2026
• Contract: 1 academic year, inclusive of a 3-month probation period
• Curriculum: US California Curriculum
• Classes: 24 classes per week
• Class Length: 45 - 50 minutes per class
• Working Hours: 7:40 AM - 4:00 PM
• Class Time: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with optional after-school teaching until 4:00 or 5:00 PM
• School Year: 2 semesters per academic year (August to December, January to June)
• Responsibilities: student supervision during snack and lunch breaks, and attendance at all required school meetings, functions, and events

Qualifications

• NES only (Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, UK, USA)
• Passionate and caring for elementary students with relevant teaching experience
• Bachelor's degree in Education preferred (or Master's/PhD, if any)
• Degree transcript
• Teaching-related certificates
• Passport photo page
• Recommendation or referral letter(s), if any
• At least 2-3 years of elementary teaching experience
• Non-criminal record, if any
• Teaching demonstration may be required
