Urgent vacancy: Satit RTU International School, a Cambridge-affiliated school in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand, is seeking a native English speaker to start on 1 June 2026. This is a full-time position. Online interviews are now being conducted.

We are Satit RTU International School, affiliated with Ratchathani University, a private university in Ubon Ratchathani. Please note that there are two other universities in Ubon Ratchathani — Ubon Ratchathani University and Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University — both public, so there can be some confusion with the name.

Our school is centrally located on the ring road, directly opposite CentralPlaza Department Store.

Requirements

  • Native English speaker from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Recent experience teaching in Early Years settings

Responsibilities

1. Main Early Years Class Teacher

  • Lead a class of no more than 25 students
  • Be supported by two qualified co-teachers (Thai and non-Thai)
  • Follow the Cambridge Early Years Curriculum
  • Use provided worksheets and resources
  • Attend a Pre-Service Introduction Training
  • Participate in termly evaluations to support professional growth
  • Contribute new ideas and work within a collaborative framework

2. After-School or Weekend Activities (Optional, with Extra Pay)

  • Small classes with a maximum of 15 students, offering Arts and Crafts, Music and Dance, Mandarin, and English
  • Extra compensation: 590 THB/hour

3. Termly School Excursions

  • Once per term
  • Parents and Thai teachers assist
  • Teachers lead the activities and supervise the group

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Two consecutive days off per week, typically Saturday and Sunday, flexible by term
