Drama and Conversation Teacher
About this position
Saint Joseph Mueang-Ake (Rangsit Area - 10 minutes from Don Mueang Airport) is hiring a Drama & Conversation Teacher for our Higher Primary and Secondary programs. Start immediately or within this month. This is a direct-hire position with the school.
Eligibility Requirements
- Native English speakers preferred
- Non-native English speakers with excellent English proficiency may also be considered
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in any field
- Teaching experience with Primary or Secondary students is highly advantageous
Salary & Financial Benefits
- NES base salary: 48,000 THB, depending on qualifications and experience
- NNES base salary: 25,000-30,000 THB, depending on qualifications and experience
- A small, refundable security deposit is deducted during the 90-day probation period
- 12-month contract, paid for all months
- Work permit support provided
- Annual salary increase
- Paid school breaks after probation: April: 14 paid days; Christmas: approximately 9 paid days; all Thai public holidays paid
- Health insurance after 1 full year of employment
- Morning and evening shuttles at specific locations
Position Details
- Levels: Higher Primary and Secondary
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 07:15-17:00
- Teaching load: Normal 16-20 periods per week; maximum cap 24 periods per week
Required Qualifications
- Strong spoken and written English skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience teaching English, Drama, Debate, Public Speaking, or related subjects is preferred
- TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, PGCE, Drama, Performing Arts, Education, or related qualifications are a plus
- Ability to motivate and engage upper primary and secondary students
- Professional, creative, and enthusiastic teaching approach
Additional Notes
- 60-90 day probation period
- Participation in up to 5 school events per year, which may include weekends
- Visa and work permit support provided, with details explained during hiring
