Chinese Teacher, Primary & Middle School

Thai International School (TIS) is seeking professional and passionate Chinese Teachers for our Primary Program and Middle School Program. These positions commence in July 2026.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Chinese pedagogy and modern instructional design.
• Proficiency in teaching Hanyu Pinyin, character evolution, and literacy strategies; able to implement differentiated instruction for both Chinese as a Foreign Language (CFL) and Chinese as a Native Language (CNL) learners.
• Familiarity with YCT/HSK frameworks and ability to integrate them with American Common Core or ACTFL (World-Readiness Standards).
• Available to lead enrichment activities in the After School Activities Program.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with leadership, parents, and the TIS community.
• Positive, caring, and professional attitude.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Education
• 2+ years of experience in the position being advertised
• Clean criminal background check (we conduct thorough background checks)
• Native Chinese speaker with English communication skills
• Temporary or full teaching license
